2025 was WOW! Now 2026 has arrived.

2025 was a very busy year for Technetium Networks. The year started with a Optic Fibre roll out to a NSW based industrial site. This was a few years in the making. When the customer came to us, they knew their fibre path was old and had been modified many times over the past 30 years. But this time they asked what do we need?

The IT equipment was in a disused building. The Optic Fibre switch was in a condemned building, as we the main fire alarm panel. The Optic fibre (OM1) was routed through infrastructure that was ageing and falling to bits on a part of the site that was no longer in use. We proposed a complete new design, New IT Room, New Optic fibre.

And that was the build at the start of 2025. A complicated fibre build of OM4 Multimode for the Data network and OS1 Single mode for the Fire Alarm, with the transfer of a Carrier Optic fibre service to the new IT Room along with the install of a new Starlink service and the move of Servers, Switches, CCTV, etc. all on go-live day.

The day was scheduled for a 10 hour site-wide IT & Communications outage. We finished in just 4 hours…. Why? Our preparation was thorough! All cabling was certified. Everything was tested in advance. AND everything worked (as it should)!!! Planned for the worst, hoped for the best, and we were 100% on the money. Under Budget and inside the time line by a few months…

Then at the end of the year, another HUGE project. An ASX top 100 Corporation’s new Australian Head office in Brisbane with 26 meeting rooms using Poly TC10 Scheduling tablets and 10 x Microsoft Teams Video conference rooms. Poly Video Conference, X32 Studio video bars, X52 Studio video bars and the Poly G62 Studio codec with E60 & E70 cameras and integrated into Shure and Biamp audio system controlled via Crestron. All completed in JUST 25 Days! And what happened? YUP, we nailed it! In time, UNDER budget.

2026 has already started with a BANG!

Our name Technetium is now a Registered Trademark in Australia and New Zealand.

We are now officially registered for Security installation in the state of Victoria and is a member of ASIAL (Australian Security Industry Association Limited.) This means we can now supply & install Access Control and CCTV networks. Adding another feather in the Technetium cap.

There’s more to come yet, stay tuned!
